Keynote Speech:
An afternoon at the Oscars of Academic Papers

It has been said that the world is globalized and that countries and cultures have come together in an effort to create a homogeneous mixture
of cooperative efforts. In the sphere
of academic paper writing, this can be seen in the paper's reference section. However, on closer inspection, the reference section often reveals a disparity of 'efforts' on the part of the global community with certain countries and academic institutions being more highly represented. Looking deeper, a number of distinctive categories emerge- some static and others dynamic. Given this situation, and in keeping with giving credit where credit is due, the speaker will announce the winners of the Oscars for academic paper writing using a 'best in the category' format.

In 1994, Robert opened Language Link, Russia, which today with its 75 locations, has become the largest network of language schools operating in the Russian Federation.
