There are many challenges in teaching non-philological undergraduates Academic English. An English teacher usually has a class of a certain language level. The students often see their problem as primarily linguistic but they also need to learn how to produce satisfactory writing. The integration of academic literacy in university's curriculum, the promotion of multimodalities of the teaching and assessment as well as collaboration between language lecturers and core course specialists.
